Exploring Ethnic Foods in Lincoln
Four UNL collegiates and I, with varying levels of experience with ethnic food, expanded our knowledge and palates through finding, tasting and re-creating three ethnic dishes. Throughout the process, we experienced the power food has to bring people together. We re-created dishes from Mexican, Vietnamese, and Indian cultures. To make our dishes as authentic as possible, we sourced our ingredients from local ethnic grocery stores and markets
